「2022 MAMA」的第一天于29日在日本的”大坂京瓷巨蛋”举行，获奖者也公布了。
今年的”MAMA”于29日和30日两天举行，第一天，在4个大奖中，只有”Worldwide Icon of the Year奖”获奖者公布，获奖的是”BTS防弹少年团”。
作为颁奖者登场的朴宝剑表示:「明天将展开J-Hope的舞台，这个奖盃明天会好好送给你。」
Stray Kids、Seventeen、Treasure、TXT、Got7、PSY、NCT Dream、Enhypen、BTS、BLACKPINK被选为本赏的「全球粉丝选择TOP10奖( Worldwide Fans’ Choice )」，其中Stray Kids还会得了Yogibo Chill Artist奖，一起获得了双冠王。
第二天的”2022 MAMA”将公布其他部门的获奖者。
